Demonstrations around the world in support of Gaza (Al Jazeera)

Demonstrations continued around the world, denouncing the war waged by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip, and demanding that it be stopped immediately and that aid be brought into the besieged Strip.

A number of Tunisians demonstrated on Habib Bourguiba Street in solidarity with the Palestinian people, in support of the resistance in the Gaza Strip, and in condemnation of the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation.

The demonstrators denounced what they described as the complicity of Western governments with Israel and the obstruction of any effort to hold it accountable for the crime of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity against the Palestinian people.

The demonstrators raised slogans stressing the need to liberate the occupied territories, establish an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, and hold accountable those involved in crimes against the Palestinian people.

In the German capital, Berlin, a demonstration took place to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the delivery of aid to the residents of the Strip.

10 other German cities are witnessing demonstrations calling for an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza and an end to German government support for Israel, as well as a ban on the export of German weapons to the Israeli army.

Rejecting "Western collusion"

In the Swedish capital, Stockholm, demonstrations took place rejecting the collusion of Western governments with Israel, and the cities of Uppsala and Göteborg in Sweden also witnessed massive demonstrations in support of Palestine and Gaza.

The demonstrators raised pictures of children who were victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and called for an end to the war, holding the occupation accountable for its crimes, and providing urgent and sufficient aid to those affected in the Gaza Strip.

In the Danish capital, Copenhagen, sympathizers with Palestine went out in a demonstration to denounce the genocide crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip, and they also denounced the continued Israeli aggression against the Strip.

In the city of Kolding in Denmark, demonstrations took place calling for Israel to be held accountable for the crimes it commits against the Palestinian people, as the demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and banners calling for an immediate cessation of the war and the entry of aid to the afflicted in the Gaza Strip.

Demonstrators organized a huge sit-in in the Italian city of Milan to demand an immediate end to the genocide in Gaza.

In the Norwegian capital, Oslo, hundreds demonstrated to demand an immediate end to the Israeli war on Gaza.

The vicinity of the Israeli embassy in the South Korean capital, Seoul, also witnessed a demonstration demanding a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, where the demonstrators raised slogans denouncing the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza, and chanted slogans against the international position and the continuation of the massacres.

Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip with American support, leaving tens of thousands of civilian victims, most of them children and women, a humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction, which led to Tel Aviv appearing before the International Court of Justice on charges of genocide. .
