On the 14th, Majority Leader Schumer, the top member of the U.S. Senate, the Democratic Party, gave a speech in Congress regarding the Israeli-Palestinian situation.



In this, House Minority Leader Schumer said of Prime Minister Netanyahu, who leads a coalition government with far-right parties, ``Prime Minister Netanyahu has prioritized his own political survival over the national interest and has lost his way.'' "They have tolerated it too much and have reduced support for Israel in the international community to historic levels."



Regarding the realization of peace through ``two-state coexistence'' between Israel and Palestine, which the Biden administration should aim for, he said, ``Prime Minister Netanyahu is one of the obstacles.''
