This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission Nikolai Bulaev.

According to him, in Rostov-on-Don and Karachay-Cherkessia there was a “pouring of ink into the ballot box.”

Bulaev clarified that both men and women were involved in this.

“It is clear that they were promised money, a reward,” TASS quotes him.

Bulaev also said that the Central Election Commission will turn to the police and the National Guard for help.

It was previously reported that the Russian presidential elections are being observed by about 333.6 thousand people, more than 700 observers arrived at polling stations from abroad.
