The bodies of a Japanese woman in her 20s and her Filipino mother were found in the backyard of a house in Quezon province in the northern Philippines.

According to local police, the two people were buried, and they are investigating the matter as a case by interviewing the mother's sister who lives in the house.

According to the police, the two had been living in Japan, but had been missing since the 21st of last month while visiting the Philippines, and their relatives had filed a search request on the 9th of this month.



On the afternoon of the 14th, when police visited the mother's sister's house in Tayabas City, Quezon Province, where the two were last seen, they became suspicious because the soil in the backyard was soft, so they dug it up and found the bodies. I mean, I discovered it.



Police are conducting autopsies on the two bodies to determine the cause of death, and are investigating the incident by interviewing the mother's sister and others who live in the residence.



The house where the body was found is in a rural town about five hours drive from central Manila.
