Newsweek writes about this.

According to the publication, instead of supporting the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, Kyiv’s allies insist on purchasing expensive foreign weapons.

At the same time, as noted, Ukrainian manufacturers cannot sell their products abroad, since export licenses have not been issued since the start of the conflict.

The publication states that without government orders, Ukrainian arms companies will have to lay off some employees and reduce production capacity.

Earlier, the ambassadors of 27 EU countries agreed to allocate another €5 billion for weapons to Kyiv in 2024.

The Czech Republic also stated that Ukraine could receive purchased ammunition in June.
