25 provinces held civil service examinations on the same day

  Starting in January, many places have successively released announcements for the recruitment of civil servants in 2024. According to the announcement, 25 provinces including Fujian, Shanxi, Guangxi, Liaoning, and Guangdong are scheduled to hold written examinations this weekend.

  Specifically, with the exception of Guangdong and Qinghai provinces, which held written tests on March 16, the written tests for most provincial joint entrance examinations are from March 16 to March 17. Among them, the "Administrative Vocational Ability Test" will be held on March 16 and "Shen Lun" two public subjects written examination.

  Previously, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Beijing, Sichuan and other places had conducted provincial (municipal) written examinations from December last year to January this year, and the written examination results and passing scores have been announced one after another.

  "More and more places are participating in the joint examination, and the examination time is the same in each place. On the one hand, it is convenient for the recruitment unit to organize the examination, and on the other hand, it is convenient for the candidates to prepare for the examination and start studying as early as possible. Continue to adhere to grassroots orientation

  In the 2024 civil service joint examination, the recruitment scale and recruitment characteristics still attract widespread attention from the public and candidates.

  In terms of recruitment scale, according to statistics from relevant agencies, among the 25 provinces participating in this joint civil service examination, 15 provinces and cities have expanded their recruitment compared with last year's provincial examination. The average recruitment expansion rate is about 8.9%, and 10 provinces have a larger number of recruits. There was some compression in the previous year.

  Judging from the recruitment characteristics, the 2024 provincial examination recruitment continues to adhere to the grassroots orientation. Among units at all levels, the main recruitment force still comes from grassroots agencies at the county (district) level and below.

For example, this time the Sichuan Provincial Examination continues to promote civil servant examination policies, resources, and power to the grassroots. County and township government agencies plan to recruit nearly 12,000 candidates, accounting for more than 90% of the total number planned.

  In addition, fresh graduate positions are still the key words for the 2024 provincial examination recruitment.

For example, this Hebei Provincial Examination has intensified recruitment efforts at all levels of government agencies, and continues to arrange for government agencies below the county level to come up with a certain number of recruitment plans to recruit fresh graduates, and implement a recruitment plan for grassroots project staff of retired college student soldiers.   Regarding the identity of fresh graduates, Li Mengjiao said that this provincial joint examination is already relatively "friendly" to non-fresh graduates, and there are fewer restrictions on candidates' academic qualifications, grassroots work experience, etc.

  Experts said that in recent years, there has been a very obvious trend in provincial examination recruitment, that is, the time between written examination and interview is getting shorter and shorter. In some provinces, there is less than a week between the release of written examination results and the start of interviews, which makes many candidates Caught off guard.

  “Different from the written examination, the number of questions, answering time, examination methods, and focus of examination points vary greatly from place to place. For example, some provinces use structured interviews, while others use non-leading group interviews. Candidates should use local interviews.
