The sunny sky will prevail this Friday over the cloud-covered ones in large areas of Spain, while the thermometers in half the country will register at least 20 degrees.
The prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), collected by Servimedia, indicates that the remains of an Atlantic front will leave a predominance of
cloudy
or overcast skies on the
peninsular Atlantic slope, the upper Ebro and the Pyrenees.
This Friday
it could rain occasionally
in the northeastern third of the peninsula and with greater probability in
western Galicia.
There will be cloudy intervals on the coasts of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
The sun will shine in the rest of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands.
However, evolving cloudiness will develop in large areas of the peninsular interior, with the possibility of occasional showers in mountain areas of the northern half, the north of Extremadura and, more likely, the north of Catalonia, where they could be accompanied storm and occasional hail.
In the
Canary Islands, cloudy intervals are expected
in the north of the most prominent islands, with a tendency to remain slightly cloudy or clear throughout the archipelago.
It is likely that morning mists or
mists
will appear in large areas of the Atlantic slope,
Catalonia, the Pyrenees and the Balearic Islands.
Coastal fogs are also possible in the
Gulf of Cádiz
, the Alborán area and the southeast coasts and the Balearic Sea.
The presence of suspended dust in the eastern peninsula and the Balearic Islands is not ruled out.
Temperature and wind
Temperatures
will rise in the western third of the peninsula, both archipelagos and the Mediterranean coasts,
and will drop in the interior of the eastern third and the Cantabrian Sea.
It will be warmer in Murcia (27 degrees), Málaga and Valencia (25), and Alicante and Santa Cruz de Tenerife (24).
Finally, this Friday winds will blow from the west, weaker in general and somewhat more intense on the coasts and north of Galicia and the southern half of the Mediterranean coast.
The Canary Islands will have weak to moderate trade winds and will remain weak in the western islands.
