In Zimbabwe, bicycles to avoid elephants on the path of schoolchildren

Hundreds of underprivileged schoolchildren have been given bicycles under a program sponsored by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Authority (ZimParks), in collaboration with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW).

The aim is to shorten the long distances that many students walk and reduce the risk of encountering wild animals on the way to school.
