In Crimea they said that NATO is responsible for the attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the peninsula

This statement was made by the co-chairman of the Assembly of Slavic Peoples of Crimea, Roman Chegrinets.

According to him, the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance are helping Ukraine with intelligence, weapons and ammunition.

“NATO countries, in my personal opinion... bear full responsibility, just like Ukraine itself, and in principle must answer for this,” RIA Novosti quotes the co-chairman.

In addition, he noted that NATO is demonstrating its open hostility towards Russia.

Earlier, Senator from Crimea, member of the international committee of the Federation Council, Sergei Tsekov, said that the main goal and task of NATO is not defense, but the weakening and dismemberment of Russia.

Also, the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the President of Russia, Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government Georgy Muradov, called the appearance of NATO military aircraft over the Black Sea an outright aggression.
