This was stated during a briefing by the official representative of the German Cabinet of Ministers, Steffen Hebestreit.

“No, the chancellor’s position on this matter has not changed in any way,” TASS quotes him as saying.

He noted that Scholz, like French President Emmanuel Macron, has his own point of view.

At the end of February, Scholz said that there would be neither German nor NATO troops in Ukraine.

Previously, Hebestreit confirmed a meeting on March 15 in the Weimar Triangle format, in which Scholz will meet with

Macron and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
