The children’s condition is assessed as stable, the director of the medical institution, Elena Petryaykina, told Izvestia. There are 12 girls and 20 boys among those hospitalized. Each child is a citizen of Russia and is under the personal care of Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova, the newspaper writes. As it became known on March 10, another group of Russian children who were in refugee camps in Syria was returning to Russia.

32 children, ranging from five to 17 years old, who returned to Russia from Syrian refugee camps, were taken to the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital (RCCH) of the Ministry of Health. They undergo a comprehensive examination.
