Two brothers are arrested for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman with whom one of them had had a date in Palencia

has arrested two brothers of Paraguayan nationality, aged 22 and 27, who allegedly sexually assaulted a young woman in the town of

Autilla del Pino (Palencia)

, where they had her

tied, gagged and held over the weekend.

after which they stole a car and suffered an accident.

Last Saturday, March 9, the victim and one of the attackers

stayed

in the town of Autilla del Pino, where the man lived who, at a certain moment, proposed to the victim to have sexual relations and, when she refused, he sexually assaulted her. , as reported by the Palencia Civil Guard Command in a press release.

From that moment on, there was a

succession of sexual assaults and physical abuse,

including gagging the woman and telling her that she was kidnapped.

On Sunday morning, March 10, the alleged attacker called his brother, who also participated in the physical abuse of the woman, who was also forced to make three transfers through Bizum to her accounts, with a total value of 850 euros. .

In the afternoon the two attackers left the home, leaving the victim tied to a metal structure so that he could not escape.

Hours later, the victim

managed to free himself,

went out to the street to ask for help and took refuge in the Autilla del Pino Senior Center, where he requested help.

The Civil Guard immediately went to the scene to treat the victim, who was transferred to the Rio Carrión Hospital in the capital of Palencia for an examination and subsequent statement taking.

During that time, the attackers were in

two nightclubs and in one of them they stole a vehicle

with which they suffered an accident a few meters away, so they decided to try to steal another vehicle.

A patrol from the Traffic Subsector observed the accident and stopped to help them, at which point the two brothers tried to approach them to steal their vehicle, without realizing that they were civil guards.

The agents arrested the two young people for the crime of vehicle theft and took them to the Civil Guard Headquarters in Palencia.

At the time they were going to identify them, they verified that the affiliation of one of them coincided with that of the person who lived in the house where the attack reported in Autilla del Pino had occurred.

The Judicial Police officers conducting the proceedings for sexual assault and illegal detention were then notified that

the two alleged perpetrators of these events were already detained.

In the search of his belongings, the victim's personal documentation and his mobile phone were found, in addition to three individual doses of narcotic substances.

The two detainees have been placed at the disposal of the Investigative Court No. 3 of Palencia.
