Since the bridge hoisting requires high working conditions on the water, the maritime departments of Zhuhai and Macao are required to control water traffic in the surrounding waters for 30 consecutive hours to prevent other ships from entering the construction site and causing unnecessary impact.

Zhang Jinhan, director of the Wan Chai Maritime Affairs Department of the Zhuhai Maritime Safety Bureau, who is responsible for the on-site control of this operation in Zhuhai, told reporters that before the hoisting operation, the Zhuhai and Macao maritime departments jointly formulated a traffic control plan, issued navigation warnings in advance, and guided ships to arrange navigation plans reasonably and avoid Construction waters.

On the 12th, the Zhuhai Maritime Safety Bureau set up remote and on-site warning lines in the surrounding Zhuhai waters, and the Macau Maritime and Water Bureau set up warning lines upstream and downstream of the operating location. Both parties used remote control and precise interception by on-site law enforcement vessels to warn against possible intrusions. Irrelevant ships in the area that affected the safety of the operation were reminded and intercepted, ensuring the smooth progress of the hoisting operation throughout the process.
