The United States approved on Tuesday the sale of missiles to Poland for an amount of 3.5 billion dollars.

The contract provides for the sale of long-range air-to-ground missiles for 1.77 billion and medium-range air-to-air missiles for 1.69 billion, according to a statement from the State Department.

The United States on Tuesday approved the sale of missiles to Poland for $3.5 billion, a deal announced shortly before President Joe Biden received Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk at the White House.

The contract, which was notified to the US Congress as required by US law, provides for the sale of long-range air-to-ground missiles for 1.77 billion and medium-range air-to-air missiles for 1.69 billion, according to a statement from the State Department.
