Specifically, the manager of the Extremeño Health Service (SES), Jesús Vilés, announced yesterday that he had delivered documentation to the Judicial Police service of the Civil Guard of Mérida, relating to the existence of 40 pallets containing masks and protective material. individual (EPI) in a municipally owned warehouse in Almendralejo.

The material found, dated 2020, comes from the National Institute for Health Management (INGESA), is sealed and has a "do not use" label.

Thus, he explained that it was originally destined for the Mérida Health Area.

Vilés explained that, given the doubt about the origin of the material, the decision was made to

inform the Civil Guard.

This material was discovered during the removal of elements from the warehouse, located in the Palacio del Vino, requested by the Almendralejo city council due to the need for space.

In this context, it has been pointed out that, due to the uncertainty about the origin of the material, it has been decided to bring these facts to the attention of the Civil Guard, in case they are relevant to the investigation into the acquisition of masks by of the different public administrations with certain companies involved in the Koldo case.
