Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry agreed on Monday March 11 to leave office, announced the president of the Caribbean Community (Caricom), during a press conference organized after a meeting in Jamaica on this country plagued by gang violence and a governance crisis.

“We note the resignation of Prime Minister Ariel Henry,” said Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana and Caricom, announcing “a transitional governance agreement paving the way for a peaceful transition of power.”
