Recently, Guangzhou Railway Group announced an "upgraded" service product, changing the train schedule of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong "flexible travel" launched last year, extending from Futian Station to Shenzhen North Station.

  It is reported that the cross-border "flexible travel" between Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong means that passengers holding a valid ticket issued on the face of the ticket between Futian and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station can still take the train on the face of the ticket after handling a change or exceeding the time limit for change. On the same date, go through three "flexible travel" train change procedures.

Since its launch last year, the "flexible train" has been very popular among passengers from Shenzhen and Hong Kong. There are more than 180 trains running from Shenzhen to and from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station every day.

  Previously, this service was only available for trains originating and ending between Futian and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. Now it has been extended to Shenzhen North Station, making traveling to and from Longhua from Hong Kong more flexible and convenient, which will undoubtedly bring benefits to Longhua cultural tourism and consumption.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Longhua District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, the number of Hong Kong tourists visiting Longhua will increase significantly in 2023. Survey results show that Hong Kong tourists are particularly interested in emerging businesses such as trendy entertainment and sports, such as Karu Ice and Snow World in Guanlan District, Longhua The Langwan and Wind Tunnel in the street area are popular experience projects among Hong Kong tourists.

  In order to facilitate the travel of Hong Kong passengers, Longhua District has continued to make "smart ideas". Since last year, it has launched two "Longhua Cultural Tourism Special Line" free shuttle buses that depart from Futian Port on holidays (including Hong Kong statutory holidays) and weekends.

The bus lines connect Longhua's cultural, educational, consumer and popular business districts with large traffic, allowing Hong Kong passengers to reach Longhua's business districts and attractions conveniently and quickly.

In addition, the Longhua District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau and the District Industry and Information Technology Bureau have actively mobilized major business districts in the area to open cross-border bus routes from Hong Kong to Longhua. Currently, there are Hong Kong to Yifangtiandi, Longhua Tianhong Shopping Center, Costco, etc. The direct train to Shenzhen will further enhance the experience of Bay Area residents visiting Shenzhen.
