The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip for the 158th day had risen to 31,184 martyrs and 72,889 injured since last October 7.

The Ministry explained that the Israeli occupation forces committed 8 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming 72 martyrs and 129 injuries during the past 24 hours.

Earlier today, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted the cities of Gaza, Jabalia, Khan Yunis, and Rafah on the second day of Ramadan.

The reporter also mentioned the death of 17 people and the injury of others, as a result of an Israeli bombing of the Abu Shamala family home in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, in Gaza City, noting that a violent Israeli bombing targeted Hamad Town, north of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

"Aid martyrs"

For its part, the government media office in Gaza said that the Kuwait Roundabout crime today raises the number of martyrs killed by occupation fire while waiting for aid to more than 400, stressing that the occupation army “insists on targeting those searching for a living to satisfy their children’s hunger.”

Nine martyrs were killed as a result of targeting Gazans who had gathered waiting for aid, after a similar targeting by the occupation forces of people while they were standing in lines to obtain aid at the Kuwait Roundabout, east of Gaza City, at the beginning of this month.

This comes in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza, leaving tens of thousands of victims martyred, wounded and missing, most of them children and women, and massive destruction to residential buildings and vital facilities, amid famine looming over the besieged Strip with the scarcity of aid entering.
