Deputy General Director of the Russia exhibition Anastasia Zvyagina gave a tour of the regional stands.
She noted that the event serves as a starting point for WFM-2024 participants, who will visit more than 30 Russian cities, including new regions, over the coming weeks.
“The exhibition is open to everyone, we welcome every guest and are always ready to provide a warm welcome.
Today we are hosting participants in the World Youth Festival.
They go to study Russia and the starting point is the exhibition - it is here that the achievements of all 89 regions of the country are collected under one roof,” said Zvyagina.
Guests of the exhibition were shown at the regional stands how technologies are developing in Russia and at the same time traditions are being preserved.
As the delegation members noted, the scale of the exhibition is on a par with world events.
Eva Kauba, who came from France, spoke about her impression of how the exhibition reveals Russia.
“I saw that Russia is a very developed country.
We are impressed that there are different technologies, different cultures, different traditions here.
", she said.
According to her, she got the opportunity to learn a lot of information about Russia in one place.
“I was struck by how many nationalities live on the territory of Russia, and each has its own traditions, languages, customs, and all this is presented here at the exhibition,” noted guest from China Zhou Wei, in turn.
It was previously reported that the international exhibition and forum “Russia” at VDNKh in Moscow was visited by eight million people.
