Mahmoud was killed by an Israeli sniper in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip (Al Jazeera)

Al Jazeera obtained details about the identity and circumstances of the death of a Palestinian boy shot by an Israeli sniper in the Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip, on December 5.

The martyr is Mahmoud Hani Al-Ajouri (15 years old). Pictures taken by an Israeli drone - and obtained by Al-Jazeera a few days ago - documented his execution by the Israeli sniper, despite the absence of any clashes in the area.

The Israeli drone filmed the Palestinian boy on the ground covered in his blood in the vicinity of Al-Fakhoura School in Jabalia Camp.

The Israeli march was not satisfied with that, but deliberately took a close-up picture of him and tried to monitor any movement in the vicinity of the crime scene.

The boy's father told Al Jazeera that an Israeli sniper who was stationed on top of a building adjacent to Al Fakhoura School shot Mahmoud.

For her part, the martyr’s mother wondered why the Israeli occupation forces killed her son even though he was unarmed, noting that he was hit by two bullets.

As for Mahmoud’s brother, he said that the martyr was injured in the head and neck, calling for an international investigation into the circumstances of the assassination.
