Zelensky said this in an interview with BFMTV.

“As long as Ukraine holds out, the French army can remain on French territory,” he said.

If Russia attacks “another NATO country,” the situation will be completely different, Zelensky believes.

“Your children will not die in Ukraine,” he added.

At the end of February, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the possibility of sending Western troops to Ukraine cannot be ruled out.

He later corrected his statement and said that "not ruling something out is not the same as doing it."
