Effects of a previous raid by occupation forces on Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm (French)

The Israeli occupation forces withdrew from Nour Shams camp in the city of Tulkarm in the West Bank after storming it with a large number of military vehicles and bulldozers, and launched an arrest campaign in West Bank cities that included 25 Palestinians.

Before their withdrawal, the occupation forces conducted their patrols in the streets of Nour Shams camp and surrounded the area amid armed clashes.

The occupation forces stormed the city of Qalqilya and engaged in clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters. The forces deployed their soldiers in the city and set up ambushes for Palestinian youth in the streets.

It also raided a number of homes and arrested 3 Palestinians, including a freed prisoner, before withdrawing from the city.

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed the city of Nablus and Balata camp at dawn today, amid clashes erupting.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by a bulldozer and a number of military vehicles, stormed the eastern region in the city of Nablus, coinciding with the outbreak of confrontations with those forces.

Earlier Monday, eyewitnesses told Anadolu Agency that the Israeli army raided the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh and towns in the Bethlehem and Hebron governorates.

Arrests

On the other hand, the Commission for Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club announced that the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 25 Palestinians from the West Bank, including children and former prisoners, from yesterday evening, Sunday, until Monday morning. The arrests were distributed in the governorates of Ramallah, Qalqilya, Salfit, and Bethlehem.

Thus, the number of detainees in the West Bank has risen to 7,530 since the seventh of last October, some of whom have been released and others who are still in detention.

Since launching its devastating war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the Israeli occupation army has escalated incursions into the West Bank, causing confrontations with Palestinians, resulting in the death of 425 Palestinians and the injury of about 4,700, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The devastating Israeli war on Gaza left more than 31,000 martyrs, most of them children and women, a humanitarian catastrophe, massive destruction of infrastructure, and a famine that is now ravaging a number of areas.
