The corresponding draft resolution was published on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

“To establish, from the date of entry into force of this resolution until August 31, 2024 inclusive, a temporary ban on the export of cane or beet sugar and chemically pure sucrose in the solid state... from the Russian Federation,” the document says.

Earlier, the EC stated that they were monitoring the situation with the import of Russian agricultural products to the EU.
