The Ministry of Health in Gaza said that the Israeli occupation committed 7 massacres in the Strip, killing 67 martyrs and 106 injured during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry reported that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression had risen to 31,122 martyrs and 72,760 injured since the seventh of last October, and explained that 72% of the victims of the Israeli aggression were children and women.

She said that a number of victims are still "under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation is preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them."

In Gaza City, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that 16 people were martyred in an Israeli bombing that targeted the home of the Abu Shamala family in the Zaytoun neighborhood.

The reporter reported that 3 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house east of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

The occupation forces also bombed a house in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in injuries.

Al Jazeera's correspondent confirmed the death of 4 people - including 3 sisters - and the injury of others in a bombing that targeted a house for the Barakat family in the Khirbet Al-Adas area, east of Rafah.

The bombing came minutes before Suhoor, the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

Martyrs of hunger

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that the number of deaths from malnutrition and dehydration had risen to 25.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said yesterday, Sunday, that hunger has become everywhere in the Gaza Strip, and stated - through its account on the X platform - that the situation in the northern Gaza Strip is tragic, as ground aid is prevented despite repeated appeals.

The agency added that it cannot meet the needs of civilians without safe access and a ceasefire, noting that its teams continue to deliver food, water, hygiene supplies, and others to the people of Gaza.

Recently, there have been repeated warnings from the Gaza Strip authorities and international organizations, led by the United Nations, of the spread of famine among the besieged population, while airdrops of aid carried out by several countries, including the United States, have not alleviated the humanitarian crisis.

Recently, Martin Griffiths, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, said that half a million people in the Strip are on the brink of famine, and lack the most basic needs of food, water, and health care.
