A pro-Palestine demonstration in Tunis on Sunday (French)

Yesterday, Sunday, demonstrations and protests in solidarity with the Palestinian people continued in many capitals across the world, demanding an end to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

In Pakistan, thousands of demonstrators in different parts of the country demanded "an immediate end to Israeli violations" in Gaza and the opening of a humanitarian corridor to the Strip.

At the invitation of the Jamaat-e-Islami Party, marches were organized in support of Gaza in the capital, Islamabad, the commercial capital, Karachi, and other cities.

The demonstrators raised Palestinian banners and flags, and chanted anti-Israel and pro-Palestine slogans, calling on the international community to force Tel Aviv to stop the genocide in Gaza.

In Istanbul, civil society organizations organized a demonstration in Beyazit Square on the European side of the Turkish city.

The demonstrators chanted slogans praising the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and the resistance, stressing their solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The demonstrators later marched towards the “Martyrs Air Park” in the Al-Fateh area, where supplications and verses from the Holy Quran were recited.

A statement read out on behalf of the demonstrators indicated that Gaza was being subjected to attacks unparalleled in its history, stressing "Turkey's solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle to gain their freedom."

A massive demonstration also took place in Stuttgart, Germany, in solidarity with Gaza and Palestine in the face of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip for more than 5 months.

Tunisia and Morocco

In Tunisia, the Tunisian Network to Confront the Normalization System organized a stand in support of the people of the Gaza Strip near the American Embassy in the capital.

The demonstrators raised the flags of Palestine, Egypt, and South Africa, and banners denouncing the Israeli war on Gaza and demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Strip.

It is noteworthy that the Tunisian Network to Confront the Normalization System has been organizing this protest in front of the American Embassy every week since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza.

In Morocco, yesterday, Sunday, dozens of Moroccan women called for the protection of Palestinian women - especially in Gaza - as the war on the Strip continues.

This came during solidarity vigils with women in Gaza in the cities of Casablanca (west), Agadir (centre), and Tangiers (north).

Participants in the protest raised banners in support of Palestinian women and condemned Israel’s attack on civilians in Gaza.

The participants called for the international community to intervene to put an end to the war, and praised the steadfastness of Palestinian women and their continued sacrifices despite the extent of the destruction.

Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 31,000 martyrs - most of them children and women - massive infrastructure destruction and a humanitarian catastrophe, which led to Tel Aviv appearing before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing "genocide."
