Journalists interviewed ten Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers to understand how a shortage of ammunition, superior personnel of the Russian Armed Forces and poor military command led to Ukraine's worst defeat in a year.
They said that the situation in Avdiivka was catastrophic, since the Ukrainian military was physically exhausted, they lacked ammunition and were constantly under fire from Russian aircraft.
Earlier, a correspondent for the Czech publication Seznam Zprávy, Jan Novak, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were in a difficult situation after the loss of Avdiivka.
