first photograph of the princess
since her intervention in a private London clinic on January 16, amid speculation around the world about the nature of her illness, which was not specified.
In the image she appears sitting outdoors with her three children - Jorge, Carlota and Luis - standing at her sides.
According to a royal spokesperson, the snapshot was taken by her husband
earlier this week at their residence
on the Windsor Castle estate (about 40 kilometers from London).
According to palace sources, the future queen, who spent thirteen days in hospital, is recovering well from the surgery, although she is not expected to assume official commitments until after Easter.
