Regarding the situation across the Taiwan Strait, Yan Ke, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, said that the current cross-strait relations are complicated and severe. The DPP authorities refuse to recognize the "1992 Consensus" and stubbornly insist on "anti-China" and "reliance on the United States and seeking independence", and continue to "rely on the United States and seek independence". Taking risks on the road to "Taiwan independence" has seriously jeopardized peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.

She pointed out that in the face of complex and severe situations, the mainland has always firmly grasped the leadership and initiative in cross-Strait relations, complied with the common aspiration of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait for peace, development, exchanges, and cooperation, and unswervingly opposed "Taiwan independence" separatism and external forces. Intervene, maintain peace, expand exchanges, and promote cooperation.

"'Taiwan independence' must be a dead end. It will only bring disaster to Taiwan compatriots and lead Taiwan compatriots into the abyss." Zou Zhenqiu, president of the Jiangsu Taiwan Federation, said that compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait should join hands to promote the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations and promote the development of China's Great national rejuvenation.

When it comes to cross-strait exchanges, Chen Yunying, president of the Taiwan Alumni Association, said that he believes cross-strait exchanges will continue to increase and will heat up across the board.

Whether they are studying, finding a job, doing business, or doing business, the mainland will do its utmost sincerity and best efforts to welcome every Taiwan compatriot.

"In the Hangzhou Asian Games held last year, young athletes from both sides of the Taiwan Strait competed on the same field and cheered for each other, which was touching." Tao Jun, vice president and secretary-general of the Zhejiang Provincial Taiwan Federation, said that not only sports events, but now many Taiwan youth also participate Cross-Strait exchanges in various fields such as culture and art are ongoing.

In addition to some "Sou Lai", many "Taiwan's second generation" and "Taiwan's third generation" have also developed careers in the mainland in recent years, driving more Taiwanese youth to find jobs and start businesses in the mainland.

"Youth exchanges are an important engine for healthy dialogue and good-faith communication between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait." He suggested that in the future, we should continue to enhance the integration of cross-Strait youth exchanges, hold more cultural exchange activities, and jointly tell the story of Chinese culture; continue to organize the Cross-Strait Youth Development Forum and other activities to attract more Taiwanese companies and Taiwanese youth to invest and start businesses in the mainland.

Chen Yongdong, executive vice chairman of the Xiamen Federation of Industry and Commerce, said that from the introduction of a series of measures by the central government and relevant ministries and commissions to the announcement of specific implementation methods by Fujian, it can be seen that the policies and measures to benefit Taiwan are constantly deepening and have strong operability.

He said that no matter what kind of talent or industry, they can find more room for development in Fujian.

The next step will be to promote the implementation of policies and measures so that Taiwan compatriots can feel the benefits of integrated development.
