This statement was made by ex-adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin in his video blog.
In his opinion, Zaluzhny should gather his closest associates and state his position.
“If he declares that he is going as ambassador to Great Britain, then this will completely be a “downed pilot-general” who will never exist in a political or other dimension,” Soskin noted.
Earlier, Zelensky approved Zaluzhny’s candidacy for the post of ambassador to the UK.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, in turn, said that Russia is not concerned about the appointment of Zaluzhny as ambassador to London.
