Emergencies and the Army have been searching since this Friday for two minors aged 16 and 17 who could have fallen into the sea in the vicinity of El Confital beach, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and who lost track of them at the last minute of the late.

This Saturday, efforts were resumed to try to locate these two young people who, according to sources from the emergency department, had gone fishing in this area of ​​the bay and whose personal belongings were located last night.

The emergency call was received at the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 around 7:15 p.m. on Friday, so different resources were mobilized and have collaborated since then in the search tasks.

A team of firefighters from the Port's zonal park participate in this device by land, sea and air, as well as soldiers from the La Isleta base, the Air Rescue Service (SAR) of the Air Force, Maritime Rescue personnel, and Local Police. of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, National Police, Civil Guard and Canarian Emergency Service (SUC).

The Firefighters' drone unit is also on the ground, which withdrew late last night and has been activated again today, and since this morning agents from the Special Group of Underwater Activities (GEAS) of the Civil Guard.

By air there is also a SAR helicopter, another from Maritime Rescue and one from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands.

By sea, in addition to the GEAS, the Río Tambre patrol boat of the Civil Guard and the Guardamar Urania of Maritime Rescue work.
