The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip amounted to 30,878 martyrs and 72,402 injured since last October 7.

The Ministry reported that the Israeli occupation committed 8 massacres in the Gaza Strip, leaving 78 martyrs and 104 injured during the past 24 hours, and confirmed that 72% of the victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip are women and children.

For its part, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on International Women's Day that the women of the Gaza Strip are still bearing the consequences of the brutal war.

UNRWA reported that 63 women are killed daily in Gaza, including 37 mothers who leave families behind, while the government media office in the Gaza Strip said that at least 8,900 women have been martyred in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Strip.

Intense raids

The Israeli occupation forces launched raids targeting various places in the central and southern Gaza Strip in Deir al-Balah, Khan Yunis and Rafah since the early morning hours. An Israeli raid targeted thousands of Palestinians who were waiting for relief aid to arrive at the Kuwait Roundabout south of Gaza City.

Al Jazeera's correspondent said that martyrs and wounded arrived at Al-Shifa Medical Complex after the raid, while medical sources indicated that a number of the injured were at risk of death due to the lack of operating rooms to save them.

In the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that the number of martyrs of an Israeli raid on a house west of the city at dawn today, Friday, had risen to 6, including two children.

In Khan Yunis, an Al Jazeera correspondent confirmed the death of a young man and the injury of a large number of Palestinians after a civilian car was targeted in the Al-Attar area, south of Khan Yunis.

The reporter said that a large number of injured people arrived at the Gaza European Hospital after the car was exposed to an Israeli bombing.

Earlier, Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 9 Palestinians - including children - were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Al-Hakar area in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip also announced that the number of martyrs as a result of the famine had risen to 20, including children, the last of whom was 3-year-old Ahmed Ahil, who died due to drought and malnutrition resulting from the spread of famine in the northern Gaza Strip as a result of the restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation forces on entering... Food and medical aid to Gaza.
