She emphasized that Gagauzia is open to cooperation with different states.

Hutsul also thanked the people of Moldova for the warm welcome at the Chisinau airport, where she was greeted with flowers and thunderous applause.

Earlier it was reported that Evgenia Gutsul freely left the Chisinau airport building, where she returned today from Russia.

Acting Prosecutor General of Moldova Ion Munteanu said that the country's Prosecutor General's Office intends to send to court a criminal case in which Gutsul appears.

Hutsul, in turn, stated that she did not break the law and did nothing wrong. 

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told RT that Moldovan President Maia Sandu, hiding behind “legality,” is settling her scores with the head of Gagauzia, Evgenia Gutsul.
