The House of Councilors' Committee on Political Ethics has unanimously decided to hold a defense and question-and-answer session regarding the issue surrounding the political funding party of a faction of the Liberal Democratic Party.

Going forward, we will confirm with the relevant members of the Diet their intention to attend, and we will make adjustments with a view to holding a review meeting in the second half of next week.

Regarding this issue, the four opposition parties, including the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, first requested the attendance of a total of 32 members, including

31 members of the Liberal Democratic Party and

members who left the Liberal Democratic Party after being indicted at home, to

convene a political ethics review committee in the House of Councilors.

I filed a complaint.

In response to this, the review committee unanimously decided to hold the members' explanations and question and answer them.

This will be the first time that the defense will be presented at a House of Councilors review committee.

Regarding the review committee,

former House of Councilors Secretary-General Seko, who is pro-Abe, has announced his intention to attend if it is held, and

Shoji Nishida, a member of the House of Councilors who is pro-Abe, has attended and spoken to the press. It shows that you want to publish it.

The review committee will ask the 32 relevant members of the opposition party to attend whether they wish to attend, and if they do, whether they would like to make the meeting public, and will proceed with adjustments with a view to holding the meeting in the second half of next week.
