The House of Councilors is considering convening a political ethics review committee later next week to provide explanations and question questions from members of the Liberal Democratic Party regarding the issue surrounding political funding parties organized by factions of the Liberal Democratic Party.

The Liberal Democratic Party is of the opinion that it is necessary for senior Abe supporters to attend, other than former House of Councilors Secretary-General Seko, who has indicated his intention to attend, and adjustments are expected to be made.

On the 8th, the House of Councilors' Committee on Political Ethics unanimously decided to hold the members' defense and question them regarding this issue.

The review committee is considering holding the meeting in the second half of next week, and is currently confirming whether the 32 people requested by four opposition parties, including the Constitutional Democratic Party, will attend and how it will be made public.

The Liberal Democratic Party

expressed its intention to release the report to the press, with

Abe's former House of Councilors Secretary-General Seko Seko and House of Councilors member Shoji Nishida in attendance.

Mr. Seko said, ``To the best of my knowledge, I would like to discuss the decision-making process within the faction, which you may be wondering about.''

However, since six members of the Liberal Democratic Party attended the review meeting in the House of Representatives, there is an opinion that it is necessary for senior Abe supporters other than Seko to also attend in the House of Councilors, and adjustments are expected to be made.

In response, the opposition party is strictly calling for the attendance of all 32 people and public disclosure, as stated by Representative Izumi of the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, saying, ``It is natural for all of them to attend, and I would like the Liberal Democratic Party to once again request that they attend.'' I'm doing it.
