“Despite everything, we have our own beliefs, our own goals, we want peace, we want goodness, we want friendship,” she noted.

According to her, powers are being taken away from Gagauzia, autonomy rights are not respected. 

“We are trying to reduce the budget of Gagauzia.

But we are moving forward,” added Hutsul.

Earlier, the acting Prosecutor General of Moldova, Ion Munteanu, said that the country's Prosecutor General's Office intends to send to court a criminal case in which Gutsul appears.

The head of Gagauzia, upon returning to Chisinau, stated that she did not break the law and did nothing wrong.
