Women's stand on Westminster Bridge in London to demand an end to the genocide in Gaza and the protection of Palestinian women (Reuters)

Demonstrations took place across Europe to demand an end to the Israeli war on Gaza and an end to the suffering of Palestinian women, coinciding with International Women's Day.

In the French capital, Paris, women's demonstrations to celebrate International Women's Day, today, Friday, turned into a march in solidarity with Palestinian women.

The demonstrators raised banners calling for the protection of the women of Gaza in light of the continuation of the Israeli war. They also demanded a ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid.

In the British capital, London, female activists demonstrated on Westminster Bridge and in front of St. Thomas Hospital to demand an end to the genocide in Gaza.

The participants carried roses and raised the Palestinian flag, and a banner saying, “We struggle with Palestinian women.”

In Geneva, Switzerland, she organized a stand in solidarity with Palestinian women, in which she raised a banner saying, “She has the right to safety.”

In Austria, European and Palestinian activists chanted freedom for Palestine and an end to genocide, inside one of the Vienna municipal headquarters during a celebration of International Women’s Day.

In the Spanish capital, Madrid, a massive demonstration took place to demand the promotion of women's rights and solidarity with the women of Gaza. Participants raised banners and banners in the distinctive purple color of International Women's Day.

In the Italian city of Turin, female activists raised a large Palestinian flag during a march on the occasion of Women’s Day, and a solidarity rally was organized on the same occasion in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.

In the Danish capital, Copenhagen, a festival was held in solidarity with Palestinian women.

In the context of the movement against the Israeli war, activists organized a sit-in at the central transportation station of the Swedish city of Göteborg to protest the activities of the Israeli company Elbit Military Industries.

The protesters raised Palestinian flags and demanded an end to the Israeli war on Gaza.

Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza for 5 months, which as of Thursday left 30,878 martyrs and 72,402 injured, most of them children and women, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
