Demonstrators in Amman demand relief for Gaza and an end to Israeli massacres (Reuters)

Demonstrations took place in parts of the Arab world - today, Friday - to denounce the Israeli massacres in Gaza and demand an end to the starvation war against the residents of this besieged Palestinian enclave. Activists also denounced the continued American support for Israel.

In Ramallah in the West Bank, Palestinians demonstrated to express their solidarity with the people of Gaza and their support for the resistance.

The participants in the demonstration demanded an end to the Israeli war and the ongoing crimes against the people of Gaza, and they also denounced the American position in support of Israel.

In the Jordanian capital, thousands demonstrated in central Amman to denounce the continuation of the Israeli war. The demonstrators called for breaking the siege on Gaza, allowing food aid to enter, and stopping the Israeli attacks on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In the Irbid Governorate in northern Jordan, demonstrators came out after Friday prayers in solidarity with Gaza, and raised slogans demanding an immediate ceasefire and the entry of necessary aid to the residents of the Strip.

The demonstrators also demanded that the Israeli occupation be prosecuted for its crimes against civilians.

The Iraqi capital also witnessed a demonstration of solidarity with Gaza after Friday prayers in the Doura area in the south.

The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding an end to the war on Gaza, and they also raised slogans to denounce the policy of starvation and siege practiced against civilians in the Strip.

In Yemen, demonstrations took place in Sanaa, Hodeidah, and Taiz after Friday prayers to denounce the ongoing Israeli massacres in Gaza.

The demonstrators called for saving the residents of the Gaza Strip from annihilation, siege and famine, and for the immediate entry of humanitarian aid.

The Israeli war - which has been ongoing for 5 months in Gaza - has left more than 30,000 martyrs and 72,000 wounded, most of them children and women, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
