The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the suppression of yet another attempt by the Kyiv regime to attack targets on Russian territory.
During the night, air defense systems on duty destroyed one UAV over the Belgorod region, and another 11 vehicles were neutralized over the territory of the Volgograd region.
In addition, at about 07:00 Moscow time, air defense systems on duty destroyed four more Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Volgograd region.
The governor of the region, Andrei Bocharov, clarified that the attack was repelled in the Gorodishchensky district of the Volgograd region.
According to him, measures have been taken to ensure the safety of residents; no casualties or destruction have been recorded.
At the same time, temporary restrictions were introduced in the airspace over Volgograd, RIA Novosti reported, citing a representative of the Volgograd airport.

“Due to restrictions in the airspace, the Ural Airlines flight from Sharm el-Sheikh to Volgograd was redirected to an alternate airfield in Astrakhan.

Between 14:00 and 15:00 Moscow time, it was also reported that one drone was destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region and two more devices over the territory of the Belgorod region.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense continues systematic measures to destroy Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities that are involved in the production of unmanned aerial vehicles.
In particular, on March 6, the Ministry of Defense announced a high-precision missile strike on a hangar in the industrial port area of Odessa.
According to the department, preparations were carried out at the facility for the combat use of unmanned boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As the Ministry of Defense emphasized, the goal of the strike was achieved and the object was successfully hit.
In addition, in the report on the progress of the military-industrial complex for the period from February 24 to March 1, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces carried out 23 group strikes with high-precision weapons on the objects of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, where reconnaissance and strike UAVs were produced.
Arsenals and bases of fuel and lubricants for military equipment were also hit.
Along with this, attacks were also carried out on the deployment of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, nationalist formations and foreign mercenaries.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a briefing on March 6 that the Kiev regime does not stop committing bloody terrorist attacks against peaceful Russian cities, using Western weapons.
She recalled the shelling of the Belgorod region and the territory of the DPR that occurred at the end of February and beginning of March.
In addition, Zakharova noted that on March 2, several incidents with UAVs were recorded in the Leningrad region.
“The Zelensky regime is defeated on the battlefield, so it is increasingly resorting to methods of terror against civilians and Russian civilian infrastructure.
This is already a progressive agony.
