On March 7, the German Foreign Ministry issued a press release in which the department “strongly does not recommend” that German citizens and German-Russian citizens with dual citizenship travel to Russia.
The German Foreign Ministry also warned citizens of the country against visiting the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh and Rostov regions, as well as the Krasnodar Territory due to their proximity to combat areas.
