The day after her large defeat in the Republican primaries, Nikki Haley announced that she was suspending her campaign, without providing clear support to Donald Trump, now alone in the running to face Joe Biden in the presidential election.

The Republican candidate announced on Wednesday that she was suspending her campaign, the day after her large defeat in the Republican primaries against Donald Trump, now alone in the running to face Joe Biden in the presidential election next November.

However, the former Republican governor of South Carolina and former American ambassador to the UN did not explicitly support the former tenant of the White House.

So Trump and Biden called on Haley's voters to join them.

Nikki Haley intends to pay dearly for her support

A poll published Wednesday, the day after "Super Tuesday", shows that half of Nikki Halley's supporters should vote for Trump in the presidential election, and 37% turn to Biden.

If she does not weigh very heavily within the Republican Party, her voters could nevertheless make the difference in the very close match which now pits Donald Trump against Joe Biden.

But Nikki Halley intends to pay dearly for her support.
