The message from the Investigative Committee says that the chairman of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, held a meeting in Donetsk.

There, criminal cases involving crimes committed by the Kyiv regime were discussed.

In particular, the investigation into the case of recruitment and mercenary activity continues.

It is noted that charges in absentia under Part 3 of Art.

359 of the Russian Criminal Code has been brought against a number of citizens of the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland and Romania.

“In total, more than 700 foreigners are wanted,” the Investigative Committee said.

In February, Bastrykin said that the investigative body was investigating criminal cases against more than 590 mercenaries from 46 countries fighting for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
