“During the meeting with the British Secretary of State for Defense Grant Shapps, we discussed the continuation of defense cooperation between our countries,” he said.
According to Zelensky, the main attention was paid to strengthening air defense, the long-range capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the topic of joint production of weapons.
Earlier, Shapps said that the UK will allocate additional funds in the amount of £125 million ($160 million) for the purchase of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which will increase the number of UAVs transferred to Kyiv to 10 thousand.
