According to him, voiced at a meeting on security issues in the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, Western countries continue to interfere in the internal affairs of Russia in order to weaken the country from within and destabilize the situation.
“They are increasing efforts to inspire protest and separatist processes in the North Caucasus, using public organizations controlled by the West, actively using provocations, disinformation, and technologies of negative information and psychological influence,” TASS quotes Patrushev.
Also during his speech, Patrushev emphasized that the West’s plans to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia were not destined to come true.
