Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Israeli army will continue its operations against all sites of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, including Rafah, stressing that this step will not be reversed.

During the officers' graduation ceremony at the Ramon military base, Netanyahu said that the Israeli army would continue its operations against all locations in the Gaza Strip, including Rafah, which he described as the movement's last stronghold.

Netanyahu added that the efforts of the Israeli forces "will continue to strike the enemies until victory is achieved," and continued, "We are fighting this war in order to ensure our survival."

The Israeli Prime Minister indicated that there is increasing international pressure on his government and the army, and this is “what is pushing them to unify ranks.”

During the same ceremony, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that victory over Hamas and the return of detainees is a “moral duty.”

He continued, "We are developing the army during this war, and we are focusing on the efficiency of its members."

Galant threatened Hamas by saying that the movement has only two options: surrender or death.

Gallant said that the Israeli forces "achieve the goals of the war by eliminating Hamas as a military entity and one with authority."

Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, leaving tens of thousands of victims, most of them children and women, massive infrastructure destruction, and a humanitarian catastrophe, which led to Israel appearing before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing genocide.
