The president of the far-right party assured that he had pleaded during this nearly three-hour meeting for "France not to enter into war with Russia", also criticizing the remarks of Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. who, according to him, compared the RN to “a foreign occupation army”.

Macron expressed his concern over the advance of the Russians

According to a participant, the Head of State first delivered an introductory speech lasting around twenty minutes detailing, with supporting maps, the state of the situation on the ground in Ukraine and expressing his concern about the advance of the Russians on the front.
