As TASS clarifies, we are talking about members of a group led by 61-year-old Andrei Volov, who was detained at the end of February.

“The law enforcement officers detained five members of the group, 48-50 years old, involved in the murder of another 51-year-old crime boss in August 2000, as well as the girl of one of the killed, whose identity has not been established,” the department noted.

In total, according to available information, the criminal gang operating in the 1990s included over two dozen people.

Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan announced the detention by law enforcement officers of a citizen of Uzbekistan, who is suspected of killing three people in Russia.
