Elizabeth Goranson, voter in Texas:

»This country frustrates me terribly - the fact that we have to choose between Biden and Trump.

This is shameful, simply shameful.

Brittney Williams, voter in Texas:

»I am very disappointed.

I wish there were two better options.”

These reactions to Super Tuesday from two voters speak volumes.

The super primary election day in 15 US states and one overseas territory confirmed what had been apparent for some time: the presidential election in November will, unless a small miracle occurs, be a repeat of the duel between Donald Trump and incumbent Joe Biden.

Many voters are not exactly happy about this, also considering the age of the candidates: Biden is 81, Trump 77.

Misha Kline, voter in Colorado:

»It's a little disappointing that this country is so stuck.

I wish we could move forward a bit.

I don't know, but I think at this point we deserve a president who is not approaching 80 or 90 and who is mentally stable enough to hold the office."

Lee Soul, voter in Colorado:

»It was inevitable.

I'm just a little disappointed.

I wish Haley would stay in the race a little longer.

But all of this will make us look even more like a circus to the rest of the world.

And that’s just disappointing.”

Donald Trump in particular is polarizing.

He still has many fans who support him unconditionally.

It almost doesn't matter what he does or says - or how many charges there are against him.

Aaron Bower, voter in Colorado:

»Sure, the orange man is bad, but so what?

I made money, I lived well, I fucking got by.

Now I have problems even though I make good money.

I don't want to have these problems anymore.

Whoever is now in the White House screwed up so badly.

Mahlon Tucker, voter in North Carolina:

»The last time he was in office, the economy was doing better, prices were lower.

All it takes is some common sense to understand that Biden is ruining the country.

By being in office

William Sabatini, voter in Tennessee:

“He is not the Lord and Savior.

This is Jesus Christ.

But I personally believe that it is the direction this country should go."

This, in turn, is exactly the wrong approach for the camp of Trump opponents.

Many people are motivated by the sole thought of not letting the ex-president come back to power.

Zack Leger, voter in Texas:

"It hurts my heart, but I will vote for Joe Biden so as not to vote for Donald Trump."

Rebecca Jensen, voter in Minnesota:

»I think it would be a disaster for our country if Trump were to become our president for the next few years.

So I’m doing everything I can to stop that from happening.”

Anne Kehoe, voter in North Carolina:

»We both support President Biden.

Yes, he is older.

But he did wonderful things for this country.

And the other one has so many criminal problems against him.

How can you vote someone into office who did something criminal?”

There are still eight months until the election and a lot can still happen.

But as of now, the USA will experience a race that it saw four years ago - and an election campaign that is likely to be messy again.
