On March 4, local time, the official poster for the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games was released at the Musee d'Orsay.

These two posters created by the famous French illustrator Ugo Gatoni can be called a major innovation in the history of Olympic posters. They contain many elements and rich details, breaking the tradition of previous Olympic poster design.

As an artist known for his use of color, Gatoni imagined a diverse and prosperous microworld, which included iconic elements of Paris and France, as well as all sports of the current Olympic and Paralympic Games, and also included elements of the Paris Olympic Games. Some innovative features are demonstrated.

In his own words - this is a surreal work based on reality.

In order to highlight the idea that the Olympics and Paralympics are equally important, the two posters can be seen as two separate works, or combined into one huge complete poster, with the Olympics on the left and the Paralympics on the right.

"There are a total of 8 Paris Olympic mascots 'hidden' in the poster, and it will take some time to find them. The five Olympic rings and the three-color Paralympic logo, the mass marathon, the Olympic motto, etc. can also be found in it." Added Tony said.

Both posters were hand-painted by him, and the entire creation process took a total of about 2,000 hours.

The two posters will be on display at the Musée d'Orsay until March 10.

From the time of publication, the two posters are already on sale in the official Paris 2024 online store, priced at 29 euros each.
