On the 152nd day of the war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army continued to target crowds waiting for food aid and bomb residential areas, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded. The occupation also continued to starve the Palestinians north of the besieged Strip.

In the latest massacre, two Palestinians were martyred and 9 others were injured in a bombing that targeted crowds waiting for food aid at the Nabulsi roundabout in Gaza City. Before that, 7 others were martyred and at least 10 were injured in Israeli shooting at other crowds near the Wadi Gaza checkpoint in the central Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera's correspondent also reported that 5 people were killed and others wounded in an Israeli bombing on a house housing displaced people, west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

As the starvation crisis escalated against the residents of the Gaza Strip, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, reported that the death toll due to malnutrition and dehydration had risen to 20 martyrs.

In this context, Qatar's representative to the United Nations in Geneva confirmed that "using food as a weapon and starving civilians is a war crime and genocide."

A sergeant was killed in a resistance ambush

On the ground, the Israeli occupation army announced the killing of a sergeant from the Mountain Brigade and the wounding of 12 soldiers, including 6 in serious condition, in an ambush in Hamad Town, west of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, Soroka Hospital announced that it received 9 injured soldiers, two of whom sustained serious injuries, and added that 42 soldiers are now undergoing treatment in various departments, 9 of whom are in serious condition.

Thus, the declared death toll of the occupation army since the beginning of this war rises to 587 soldiers and officers, including 247 since the beginning of the ground attack in the Gaza Strip on October 27, 2023.

Confrontations in the West Bank

In the occupied West Bank, Palestinians were injured during confrontations with the occupation forces in Bethlehem, where confrontations broke out between Palestinian youth and those forces that stormed Bethlehem and the Dheisheh camp in the city, and fired live bullets.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that 4 people were injured during the confrontations in Bethlehem, and Palestinian websites reported injuries in the Dheisheh camp.

In this context, Germany and the Palestinian Authority condemned Israel's approval of the construction of about 3,500 new settlement units, most of which are in the Maale Adumim settlement, east of occupied Jerusalem.
