The crisis of the interruption of communication and Internet services in Sudan for the fourth week due to battles between the army and the Rapid Support Forces has affected popular kitchens in Khartoum.

The Khartoum State Emergency Room announced, on its page on the “X” platform, that the number of collective kitchens that have stopped working in the capital has risen to 221, warning of an increase in cases of malnutrition and death due to hunger.

To the patient and steadfast masses of our people,

to everyone who cares about alleviating the suffering of our people

We report to you what the situation has become in Khartoum State. Today, we are suffering from a serious humanitarian crisis as a result of the cessation of a large number of hospices and joint solidarity kitchens that used to provide food to the needy....

Activists on social media platforms likened the situation of citizens in Sudan to that of the people of the Gaza Strip who die of hunger every day, saying, “Sudan also has people in great need of an airdrop of humanitarian aid. The country has entered famine and people are dying of hunger and bullets.”

Sudan's people are also in dire need of airdrops for humanitarian aid. The country has entered a famine and people are dying from hunger and bullets. Most of them are not working, as communications and the Internet have been cut off for 21 days for most of the country.
